Summer Holiday & Obon Schedule Mid August
Its that time of year again folks! Summer time every year Japanese companies close down for a break time to observe Obon Holiday.
What is this you may ask? Here is a quote from wikipedia
Obon or just Bon is a Japanese Buddhist custom to honor the departed (deceased) spirits of one's ancestors. This Buddhist custom has evolved into a family reunion holiday during which people return to ancestral family places and visit and clean their ancestors' graves, and when the spirits of ancestors are supposed to revisit the household altars. Also called the Feast of Lanterns, it has been celebrated in Japan for more than 500 years and traditionally includes a dance, known as Bon-Odori.
A couple manufacturers will be closed from the 8th. The majority will be closed from the 12th to the 16th and a couple will be off until the 20th of the month. This will mean that any orders from them will be delayed for 8 days. We apologize for this in advance.
The RHDJapan team will all be in the office working and shipping as normal.

Revoici le temps des vacances! Chaque années toutes les entreprises japonaises ferment leur portes quelques jours pour observer un break à l'occasion du Obon.
Et vous vous demandez peut être ce qu'est le Obon? Voici un extrait de Wikipédia :
O-Bon (お盆, O-Bon?) ou simplement Bon (盆, Bon?, sans le préfixe honorifique) ou Urabon est un festival bouddhiste japonais honorant les esprits des ancêtres. O-Bon existe depuis plus de 500 ans et fut importé de Chine. Au fil des ans, cette fête religieuse s'est transformée en un jour férié consacré à la réunion de famille durant laquelle les gens des grandes villes retournent à leur ville natale et s'occupent des tombes de leurs ancêtres. Un festival de danse, le Bon-Odori ou danse Bon, est traditionnellement donné pendant ces trois jours fériés.
Quelques fabricants vont être fermé à compter du 8 Août. La majorité le sera entre le 12 et le 16, et quelques autres jusqu'au 20 du mois. Ceci signifie que certaines commandes vont être retardées, et nous tenons à nous en excuser par avance.
Toute l'équipe de RHDJapan sera cependant au travail et les expéditions se feront normalement.

SPOON Rigid Collar Campaign ~Sept 30E siamo finalmente giunti a quel periodo del anno in cui tutte le Aziende Giapponesi, RHDJapan esclusa, chiudono per celebrare l'Obon.
E immaginiamo vi chiediate, cos'è l'Obon?
Obon, anche chiamato Bon, è una usanza Buddista Giapponese per onorare gli spiriti dei deceduti.
Questa usanza Buddista si è poi evoluta in un occasione per le famiglie di rincontrarsi e celebrare assieme i propri familiari deceduti, visitando i cimiteri, e pulendo le tombe dei deceduti.
E' anche la festa in cui gli spiriti dei passati sono previsti di ritornare a visitare gli altari allestiti all'interno delle abitazioni Giapponesi.
Questa festa è anche chiamata la Festa delle Lanterne che viene celebrata in Giappone da oltre 500 anni, questa festa propone anche una caratteristica danza chiamata Bon-Odori.
Un paio di produttori chiuderanno dal 8 di Agosto, la maggioranza invece chiuderà dal 12 al 16 di Agosto, un altro paio di aziende staranno chiuse fino al 20 di Agosto. Questo significa che tutti gli ordini su questo periodo riceveranno ritardi fino a 8 giorni. ci scusiamo per l'inconveniente.
Naturalmente il team di RHDJapan sarà in ufficio lavorando e spedendo come sempre.
